the (stephan)wolf theatre camp
about (stephan)wolf
The (stephan)wolf theatre camp was founded in the summer of 2010 by Erica Stephan - a fresh out of her senior year of high school, energetic, summer loving theatre geek, desperately in need of a job. (needless to say... thanks to covid, not much has changed)
Since 2010, the (stephan)wolf has had five successful summers of theatre fun. After having 7 years (and counting) of professional acting experience in and around Chicago, Erica is more excited than ever to revive the (stephan)wolf this summer. Through basic theatre skills, such as warm-ups, improvisation, pantomime, scene painting, dancing, singing, short scene performances, and new works by the kids themselves, the (stephan)wolf strives to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere where nothing but your authentic unique self and childhood play are encouraged.
Erica believes that the arts have a certain magic that no other profession can quite encompass. Not only do the arts encourage creativity and authenticity, but they also foster imagination, empathy, self-expression, and heart. She strives to make the (stephan)wolf an environment where this magic is nurtured.
